Cant see it being done in a Jimmy...1st, its a brick, no aerodynamics. You need something that will slice through the air. ....2nd...It weighs too much. Throw a 350 in a small car and you have a chance

Does anyone know is it possible to get 27 to 30 MPG with a Chevy 350 V8 small block? If so what parts do you need to do it? Has it ever been done? Any info is highly appreciated.

No but if you want to have fun speeding with a four cylinder, get a MINI COOPER S - with a turbo, You will see about 30 mpg with that go cart and have fun driving it.
