Nope, you need the electronics to run the engine, is there any check engine light on when you try to start it????

It could be as simple as a dirty fuel filter or a faulty ICM. Start with the simple and spray a small amount of starter fluid through your throttle body and see if the engine starts and stays running.

If thats the case, then good chance your fuel pump is going bad and your fuel pressure is less then 62 psi, your going to have a no engine start and should drop about 4 psi when the engine is running.

Keep us posted and good luck. Hope its just a dirty fuel filter or a bad ground wire to your fuel sending unit. :(
