4.3L Leaking Intake Manifold Gasket

Hi all,
new here and have a question pertaining to my 01 GMC Safari with the 4.3 liter. PU has 47,770 miles and it looks like the Intake manifold gasket is leaking antifreeze out the left front of the engine. Is this a common problem like GM had with the V6 engines in the Pontiac Grand Am. I put three in that car before I sold it. I truly hope this V6 doesn't have the same problem.
