I have a 2001 gmc 2500 hd 6 liter vortec. 250000 miles, pretty food shape with strong engine and transmission. I have replaced the following; fuel filter, fuel pump, maf,map,knock sensors, plugs, wires, I take manifold, 02 sensors, 2 new injectors, switched coils on #7 with #5.
Can rev the truck up to 6000 rpm in park with no noise and no codes. When in 2nd or third gear at 4000 rpm it stops accelerating until it shifts. It won't pull my travel trailer uphill faster than 35 mph. Get misfire code on #7. ECM or TCM, what the heck?
