1990 GMC Suburban 1500
350 CI
Automatic transmission (700 something?)
i am almost certain my 4x4 won't disengage. the actuator seems to work fine, and i followed the instructions in the owner's manual that states i need to reverse direction for approximately 10ft. after shifting back into 2wd.
but when i make a 90 degree turn on pavement, asphalt, etc. it feels and sounds like the tires are gripping a lot harder than they used to. i've had the transmission rebuilt recently.
all terrain tires, but i swear before i had the transmission problem it used to turn a lot more smoothly on pavement. any thoughts, suggestions, is it an obvious problem that i just don't understand or know how to diagnose?
thanks in advance for any input yall can provide.
