87 gmc jimmy 4x4 2.8 v6, it blows the e/c/m fuse?

Sounds like it has a short to ground some where would have pro check it out that might fix fuel problem too

Inspect your fuel pump relay and harness, the ECM powers the fuel pump relay and if the relay has gone bad, (shorting out) the fuse to your ECM will go bad and your fuel pump will not work.

The relay is on the firewall by the brake booster, there are two relays there, you can switch them from one another or replace them both. The other relay is for your A/C clutch.:D

Start with that first and keep us posted. ;)
