91 burban 4WD indicator light

Hi there I have just bought a 91 suburban (love it) had the dash apart to replace some bulbs and noticed a wire (black) coming from the cluster that isn't atached to anything, the light is on the 4wd spot in the cluster. Is this supposed to be hooke up, I have the indicator on the floor with the shifter, a friend told me that there isn't a light in the dash for this year but after seeing it first hand was wandering if it is supposed to be pluged in somewhere? I looked for about an hour but can't see anywhere it would go. Thanks for any replies!!

My 91 dash has a lamp that let's me know when 4 wheel drive is engaged. I don't know what you have but might have been an attempt to either put one on or take it out....my 2cents
