My 92 k1500 has been giving me fits the last few weeks. It started after I had the air-conditioning compressor changed a month and a half ago. The speedo would bounce every once in a while but then run fine. Then started running rough after a couple of weeks. It then began having no real speed indication except once in a blue moon. I checked for any ground issues and thought I found it. Then 2 days ago just quit while I was driving home. I read the code and it came back ...24 Vehicle speed sensor error (open circuit or no activity)... How could a speed sensor problem cause the truck to stall or even run rough? I'm thrown on this 1. Gonna clear the code and see if it will start. Just tries to turn over without catching right now.
