93 gmc jimmy spit sputter and shuts off somtimes?

just put plugs and wires in it dont know

Replace your fuel filter and clean your throttle body really good with throttle body cleaner. Your jimmy being a 1993 I am sure you have lots of carbon build up in the engine so your EGR valve may also need to be removed and cleaned with throttle body cleaner also.

It would also be a good time to give it a Seafoam treatment, it's a way for the engine to clean out most of the carbon build along your vacuum line and upper intake if your engine. Here is a link that helped out a lot of guys with the same issues your having.

Keep us posted and be safe. ;)
