i have a 96 jimmy and i had the same problem so i changed the fuel filter and still wasnt the problem and then checked for firing from the spark plug wires and it was firing so i added more gas to it and it started right up so one of the above is the problem if you only have like 5 bucks of gas ,,thats not enough so put 10 more bucks in gas and it started right up for some reason the pump isnt low enough to get just a little gas to start up so try adding some more gas and see what happens
