I have a 94 GMC that will not start. It becan as would spin a couple of times then start but has gradually gotten worst to no start. I checked fuel pressure and was only 17 psi max; replaced fuel pump, fuel sending unit, fuel filter. Now is 8 psi. I have ordered a fuel pressure regulator and will try this next. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Spider Injectors are about 2 years old, has a new map sensor and spark plugs. HELP!!!

Don't do like I did with my CPI. I ordered the wrong fuel pump (the one for the V vin), as soon as I put the correct one in it fired right up. I knew something was wrong when I could pour gas in the throttle body and it would fire right up and run as long as it had fuel. Double check that you have the correct fuel pump. I found out mine was wrong by cross referencing my pump number with the auto zone web site and saw that what I was using only put out 14psi of the 60+ that I needed.

Had a similar problem with my 95. In the glove box there are three relays, the middle is the fuel pump relay, sends power signal to pump. The middle one is the fuel control module relay, had to replace both of these to get mine to start every time. If you don't hear the fuel pump rise to pressure when you first turn on the key you will need to replace BOTH of these, I replaced just the one (middle) and problem diminished but still periodically occurred. Hope this helps
