ok, so i found out what was wrong, my brake caliper cracked i think were going to get a new one today, i jusdt watched a video on youtube how to change it, my question is though, we barely have money, and were only changing this one, question is, DO I NEED TO BLEEED THE BRAKES AFTER changing the rotor ??? thanks much

Yes when you change the caliper you allow air to enter the system. If you do not bleed the caliper installed the vehicle will probably pull to the right or left when the brakes are applied because the caliper with air trapped in it will have a delayed and weak reaction.

Kinda confused, you mentioned about changing the caliper and rotor. I have never seen a cracked caliper but have seen lots of cracked rotors.

Any ways, if you only replaced the rotor, no you do not have to bleed the caliper. If you did replace the caliper also, then yes you have to bleed the caliper also to make sure you get all the air out of the new caliper.

Post me back if you need help onto bleeding the caliper.

Ya, the caliper is the part that the brake pads are mounted to. The rotors are the big round (about 11 inches in diameter) disks that the shoes squeeze against.
I bet the rotors are whats cracked.
