ok so i got a 94 gmc jimmy SLE with the 4.3 vortec its auto 4wd 4door.. i had bought it from a guy and the rig had sat for over a year not started or anything. well i gave it a tuneup because it had a horrible surge and missfire.. was arcing to top of cap from each wire. it improved alot then the coil went so i replaced it and fixed its issues, but now its running really rich and sometimes is not responsive and loads up and will die on occasion. im getting about 12-16mpg highway. previous owner told me TPS sensor was acting up and would need changed. i started rig and unplugged it with no idle or engine change. still really gassy smelling. motor has 157k, with full synthetic ran its whole life.
