94 Suburban Temperature Issue

Hey all,

I have a 1994 Suburban that wont seem to heat up. The temp gauge wont climb and now the heater does not seem to work. The thermostat has been changed and the coolant is full. Thank you for your help.

the next step should be to use a scan tool to watch the data stream to see what the temp is really doing. then go from there.

Are you referring to an OBD code reader? I do not have one of those. Suppose I could go to auto zone or someplace like that. I believe they will read it for a customer.
