I recently put an engine in my truck and it will not go into any gear at all. The motor was bad had a rod knocking I drove it to a friends house to change the engine when I pulled the old one out the torque converter came out a little bit and I pushed it back in the engine went in with no problems runs but the tranny won't go into any gear when I try to check the transmission fluid it is pouring out the dipstick tube. When I try to go from 4lo to 2hi the gears grind in the transfer case but the truck won't try to move. Today I took the torque converter loose from the flex plate and it turns freely as it should but still nothing. Any one know what might be the problem?
