I have a 95 jimmy with 4.3. Last 8 of vin # S2534260 this is needed to match fuel inj system. I think it's the central multiport fuel injection. Could be central sequential electronic fuel injection. Anyway as title say's im getting gas in oil. any help would be appreciated.:)

I suspect a faulty fuel pressure regulator is causing your problem. The regulator may have a ruptured diaphragm allowing the raw fuel to leak into the intake manifold. It's common for fuel to get in to your crank case and mix with your oil when the fuel pressure regulator goes bad. The regulator is located in the intake with the fuel injection system and when it starts to go bad, this is one of the symptoms. Replace the fuel pressure regulator and make sure your oil does not get to saturated with gas causing it to thin out, which can promote the engine to spin a engine bearing. Good luck and hope this leads you to getting your jimmy running 100% again soon.

You can confirm the bad FPR by removing the intake plenum (10 bolts) and looking for washing from the gas. Typically on just one side. The FPR can be purchased at AZ or NAPA for about $45.00. Also closely inspect the nut kit for leaking. These are the hoses from the fuel rail into the plenum. Finally inspect the plenum gasket and replace upon installation of the plenum. Torque to specs and to the proper sequence. As noted change your oil and filter to avoid damaging the bearings. If that does not work consider a leaking injector or a bad intake gasket.
