I have a 1996 GMC 1500 Truck with 305 v8 and 4L60E Transmission
I was going a trans swap and change my mind and put the factory transmission back in the truck I hooked everything up but for some reason the truck won't do anything when I try to drive it If i put it in Rev it sits their the parking brake isn't on, I have the shift link hooked up. I can move the shifter inside the cab into every gear but dose nothing. it just revs Before I took the transmission out it worked just fine with no problems. I was wondering what could be going on I have a brake light on my gauge like the E brake is on but I know for fact it's not. I was wondering if maybe the Brake Light switch could be the reason for the truck able to drive when it's in the right gears. When I put it into d it just rolls
