96 Jimmy - no voltage to fuel pump

I hope you guys can help...I am replacing a dead fuel pump and before I put the tank bank on, etc. I checked the voltage going to the pump (from the wires at the pump connection point) and I am not picking up anything. All fuses are good - is there anything else that would cause no voltage to reach the pump? Are the 3 relays in the glove box supposed to be the exact same? Do all 3 control the fuel pump? There isn't a label on the cover stating what they control.

Also, when I turn the jimmy to "on" while testing the voltage, the fuel gauge display shows WAY past a full tank. The fuel level sender is not connected. Not sure whats up with that.

I think it's the middle relay that is your fuel pump, i could be wrong but all three relays are the same. one is for your A/C, Fuel pump, and Third break lights. As for your your fuel gauge reading full is correct if the harness is not connected to the sending unit and your only going to get 12V power for 5 seconds when you power up the ignition, and then will keep running when the engine is running. The ECM controls the fuel pump so re check your fues to your ECM.
