So my gas guage stays on empty when i start it but if i flick the key on and off fast (not starting the truck just so the electric turns on like radio, etc.) the needle goes up and over the amount of gas i have and comes back close to the actual amount i have its ike it floats and the needle will jump up and and down if the gas in the tank is moving back and forth unless the truck is started and when i go to drive after finally getting the gauge to kind of show me an idea of how much i have left the needle sowly goes down untill it hits empty again while i drive so then i have to turn the truck off and and flick the key again to see an idea of how much gas i have anyone know a fix or have the same problem --also it shows up quicker when im on flat ground not a slope???
