My truck has been sitting for a while now and i need some help one day i was driving home went 100 mph but when the truck shut off like it normally did it jerked really hard then when i got home i looked under the hood there was little splashes all over the engine and hood like something blew up no hole in the block or anything I know the head gasket is blown but it shouldnt be why its not starting i drove it for many months like that could it have jumped time any opinions are helpful unless there criticizing my driving im only 18 it happens and its not starter problems its brand new it will crank but not start
All the blow head gasket was doing was leaking water i kept it running cool theres no oil in the water or water in the oil waiving good bye isnt an option someone please give a helpful answer

Put the timing mark on the crankshaft at TDC and then see where the rotor points in the distributor cap. Sounds like it jumped time. If not check for spark and fuel. Not going to lecture you. good luck

Well, I'm going to criticize your you for not attending to the blown head gasket, which has now turned into your blown engine. Being young and naive, is pretty much describing the teenagers of the world.
If, there is a known problem, get it attended to ASAP especially if it concern your transportation.
Your problem-The blown head gasket turned blown engine-was probably oil related. A plugged
journal for oil flow or maybe oil in your coolant, either way you should NOT of been driving; period.
You should have been tearing down your motor. Now you have allot more damage, possibly a cracked head and/or a cracked block, pistons, valves, fuel injectors could all need replacement.
You could have been looking at a $500 fix for the original head gasket problem. Now you are looking at 3 ways to fix it,
#1 A junk yard engine, take your chances $250-$500
#2 a re-manufactured long block (block, heads, valve train) $1500-$3000
#3 rebuilding your engine $1000-$2000
Not knowing your engine size go to below address

If The Head Gasket Is Blown And You Drove It Anyway You Probably Finished Off The Motor, Check Your Oil For Antifreeze, Then Call A Wrecker And Waive Good Bye.
