97 jimmy won't start while raining

You have ignition problems, bad plug wires, coil, spark plugs wires etc. Either your parts are old and worn or you used cheap imported parts. If so, buy AC Delco.

I have seen people spray all the wiring with product like WD40 or anything that states on the can dries wet electrical systems. What is does is form a temporary barrier and allows the electricity to flow. Will not last long buy a temp fix. Friend had a Ford that no matter what, would not start when damp out. One day a fella took a can of WD40, sprayed all the wires under the hood and it started right up.
