I just purchased a 98 Jimmy and yesterday i took it an a long road trip. On the way back it began to jerk rather violently. My first instinct was a missfire, But it happened multiple times and the battery light would flash as it would jerk and on at least one occasion the abs light flashed and the tach dropped to zero and then came back up. I can't duplicate the problem it's completely random it happens at all speeds. I'm starting to think ignition switch any other possibilities?
