A month ago today I bought my 98 Suburban SLE 1500, and like the rest of my trucks I've owned I can not keep it stock. I've found a set of crystal clear corners and headlight assembly but it is for a Chevy c10. I know a lot of parts between gmc and Chevy are interchangeable but can't remember if this is one of them.. thanks for any help

awesome lights

I just bought an entire 8pc kit of lights for my burban and I will assure you that they are interchangeable... now I'm not sure what the kit that your looking at is priced at but the one I got is like 82 bucks off amazon... and let me tell you now its totally worth it the only thing is I'm pretty sure your going to want to keep your factory mounting brackets instead of swappi g out for the new ones as mine have less then perfect fitment... I'm going to try swapping the new brackets for the old ones and ill post how it goes along with pictures of what mine look like before and after

I think I just installed that same kit. I can't upload the pics

fixed fit

So exactly as I thought I did have poorly made brackets so after swapping out the new bracket for the old one and a little bit of tweaking the fitment is pretty close to perfect and the aim is almost spot on. I even swapped the corner marker bulbs for some hyper white LEDs and it really makes the front of the truck shine.

Wow

So I just installed a set of 6000k hids in those crystal lenses and they are ridiculously bright. I don't even really need my hi beams when driving down dark roads at night anymore. I'm going to install a hi4 setup that I've made out of a relay just so I can have the long range distance of the hi beams plus the intensely bright hids for short distance. Another thung is with the hids they need to warm up so if I use my hi beams for a good bit of time then when I switch bakc over to the hids they need to warm up all over again... with the hi4 kit ill be able to have both the hids and the hi beams lit at the same time so I won't have to worry about having a dark period after the transition.
