MY 99 sonoma wont start. I put the key in push in the clutch and twist the key only to have the car light, radio, and dash come on and thats it. There is no sound that the starter is making when i turn the key. I twist the key and nothing. No sound, no movement. Now, I can pop the clutch and start my car. What do you guys think is wrong?

First, you would test your battery to make sure it's good. Autozone, Shucks, etc. will test your battery (load test) it for free. Assuming your battery is good...

Replace the starter. You can run a separate hot wire from the positive terminal to the starter and if the starter does not turn over then it is probably bad. A bad solenoid would almost cost as much as a starter and solenoid, so just get a new starter assembly.
