99 gmc suburban seems to run fine then it dies.?

let it sit awhile it starts and runs for a short time. after a few times of this it started and seem to run fine? pressure tested at 56 lbs, changed fuel filter but worried it well happen at a very bad time, want to correct it. seems like fuel pump relay getting warm also.

Have your ICM (Ignition Control Module) tested at Auto Zone or Parts Source. They test free of charge and if test failed, replace it. It's common for the ICM to start to fail when it heats up and once cooled down will work again.

Once the ICM fail 100% the engine will not run at all. Start with that and keep us posted. ;)
