I just put a set of take-offs on my '99 Sierra 1500 extended cab 4x4. They're 20-inchers off a 2015 version of my '99. I like 'em!

The tires are Goodyear Wrangler SR-A's. Max air pressure for the tires is 51psi. So, what pressures should I be running front & back? I like a stiffer ride, but don't want to have the pressure so high I wear out the centers of the tires.

Right now I have them at 37psi front, and 32psi back. What psi should I have the fronts and rears at?

Edit: Oh yeah... I've looked online for the front/rear curb weight distribution, and can't find it. Any ideas?

Thanks!
Chris

the pressure you're running is good, you use max pressure hailing a load or towing,
my AT's max is 60psi and I run 55psi when I tow my camper trailer

Yeah, I don't haul a lot, so I don't need 'em at or near max. I think I'll bump the backs up to 38 and the fronts to around 42.

I'd like to find the front/rear weight balance on it w/o having to find a public scale.
