I have a 99 sonoma and its a great little truck but i cant stop breaking my front right CV joint for nothing. This will be the third one ive put in it and literally EVERY time it goes off road and has to work a decent amount it starts slippin real bad and then my 4x4 simply stops working. If anyone has any ideas to what my problem could be itd be greatly appreciated.

what exactly breaks/slips on the cv joint? The joint itself? or the splines?, because 4x4 is actually 2 wheel drive, and in two wheel drive its really one wheel drive. power will take the path of least resistance, kinda like electricity., unless you have a diff locker
