I have a 1999 Chevy Suburban. When you push the lock/unlock button the actuators all work but are very weak will not unlock doors the more you push the weaker they get.

I had the same problem, same year. I just bought new actuators on the Internet and replaced them my self. It was about $130, I got all 5 actuators including rear hatch. I've only replaced the 4 doors, haven't gotten around to the rear yet.

It's not that hard, but it certainly is irritating. I've also had to replace the driver door handle, eventually the aluminum handle just broke in half.

Thanks for the tip

I have the same problem with the same model year. I went to a mechanic and he sprayed a freeze spray on something (either in the door, or under the dash. Sorry it was a while ago) and it worked until it warmed up again. Also the locks work better in the cold. Ill see about the actuators. Do you know the cheapest place to buy them?
