Having issues with right rear tail light. When signalling right, the tail light does not flash. The front & dash signal flash quickly as if a bulb is burned out. All 3 bulbs were checked, they work. I was told that the wiring thru the rear side panels to the corner outlet are POOR & prone to corrosion or failure. The column turn signal switch seems fine, but very expensive & labor intensive to replace. One of 2 bulbs work when brakes are applied.
Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated. Can the switch be checked without removing?
Thanks for the help.

What kind of truck is it? That is a common problem and is probably the tail light circuit board shorting out. They even sell then in bubble packs at auto zone and other stores because they burn out so much. I have replaced about 5 of them on my 99 suburban over the years. It's the part that holds all you bulbs. It's an easy thing to replace but get a telescopic magnet first. Place it on the screw before you full remove it because they will drop down inside the body never to be seen again if you don't use the magnet.
