Make sure the Ground has not corroded off your frame, its a common thing to happen causing issues to fuel pump failing. Start with that and then move on verifying you have power to the pump.

You have a wiring problem as you are getting some voltage, but not the proper amount. Check the voltage at the relay.

Here is the wiring schematic: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a187/swartlkk/2000 Bravada/fuel_pump.gif

You want to test for the proper voltage at the terminal that corresponds with Pin 30 on the relay. This terminal should be hot at all times and is supplied with battery voltage through the ECM B fuse (20A). If you have +12V at this terminal, I would run a continuity test and measure the resistance between the terminal corresponding with pin 87 and pin B in the fuel pump connector. Also do a continuity test to ground with the relay removed. It should test open to ground (no continuity).

Note: There is no fuel pump prime connector. That reference is due to the same diagram being used for the S10 pickups as well. The prime connector is only found on the 2.2L I4 equipped pickups.

Good luck and keep us posted. ;)

Had a similar experience with my 95 Jimmy, after replacing the heater core started getting intermittent fuel pump power problems. Checked the relay in the glovebox and end of trouble, probably got a little loose during the repair. reseated into the harness fixed the power issue.

93 gmc jimmy

i have the same problem with my 93 jimmy, was driving one day and it stalled, restarted and made it home. the next day i went to go out and it only made it to the end of the block then it was just dead. we replaced the fuel pump in the tank and the relays in the engine compartment but it still will not start. my husband is asking me to find out where the fuel pump prime connector is. can you help me?

Being a 93, there is no shredder valve to check for the fuel pressure. Check the ICM (Ignition Control Module) unit and have it tested to make sure its in working condition.

Post back and is there any check engine night??

I had similar prob.I changed fuel pump,ICM,cam position sensor, crank position sensor, spider injectors before finally changing coil and it fired right up.check prongs underneath coil if they are white most likely this is your prob.also are you noticing does it not start after rain?
