A/C Low Side Pressure

Quick questions guys:

I have a 1997 Jimmy and wanted to know what is the ideal low side pressure reading you want when adding refrigerent?.....my guage shows 35-45psi is in the zone to where you want it to be. anywhere in that zone ok or do you guys set it at a specific pressure??

The A/C system and refrigerant are temperature sensitive. If it's a hot day 90-100 degree, you want the 45 psi. If it's cool @60 degrees, you want the 35 psi. These are ballpark figures and will work. Normally the gauge directions that came with the kit will be more exact.
