About to pick up an 08 GMC Sierra 2500HD

Found a cherry 2500HD with the 6.6l dura max and Allison trans. It has 46k on it now one owner very well taken care of.

Anything I should be aware of on this model year?

I'm a firefighter fighting cancer and felt it was time for a new toy before my demise. Any help is appreciated.

Oh it's stock for now but was looking at diablo sport programmer, cold air, exhaust. Any suggestions?

good luck, I have a 2007 duramax.. 5 inch exhaust, can programmer... sitting on 22s. I love this truck. I just went over 100k; bought it new in 07. The vehicle still has warranty up to 100k..... it is a LTZ? Mine is, they removed the heated windshield wiper capability.. I really liked that feature....
