About to Purchase 1999 Sierra

I am about to purchase a 1999 Sierra Z71. It has 60,000 original miles on it. Comes with 5.3L engine. I have only owned a Dodge Ram and Nissan Titan, so I have no experience with this year, make, or model. I would appreciate any input on this year truck you can offer. Anything I should look out for??? Any problems associated with this year???

I'd give a good look at both the Oil cooler lines & Head gaskets. In my experience with a pervious 99' both these items seemed like weaker points, along with front wheel bearings. The oil lines and head gaskets are a simple visual check, but wheel bearings give next to no indication of failure till you hear them squealing.
