2001 GMC Sierra Z71 extended cab. The ABS and the parking break light come on all the time. Never individually always both at the same time. I replaced the back bearings today and noticed that the groves were pretty deep in the back rotors like the parking break has been rubbing for a long time and the parking break pads were basically down to the metal. If I remember the parking break has never worked from day one and I didn't worry about it as I never use it. The lights have been coming on for about 6 months now. Is there anything that can cause this with the lights?

Check your front wheel bearings for slop or wear. If they're bad, replace. Also clean your speed censor connections that are mounted on top of the upper control arm on both sides. Just follow the wire coming out of the hub assembly.

I had the same problem, had it scanned and they told me it was my front driver side wheel speed sensor so I replaced it and still came on so went had it scanned again, same thing. I bought the whole hub that comes with speed sensor for about 180 and took about 45 min to change out, haven't had a light on the dash since.

I haven't been around for a few months. What would I spray in the connection? Just some contact cleaner? These 2 lights stay on more now almost all the time. I can here a tic tic tic while driving down the road but if I barley step on the petal it stops.
