I just changed both front ABS speed sensors on my 2002 with original AC Delco sensors, the original sensors were in real bad shape . The light wasn't on before the sensors were changed but the brakes were chattering at low speed. After the sensors were replaced the ABS light was on and won't go out. I only drove it about a mile to see if it would go out. Will it go out on it's own or is there something that I have to do ? The brakes seem to work good now , just have the light on.

The light is on because something in the abs system is wrong. I read the service procedure, I did not see programming required for front sensor installation.

First check the connections on the work you did. Every time the vehicle is started, the system does a self check must have found an issue somewhere. You need to see what code is stored with a scan tool. That will guide you to a circuit or component.

Best of luck
