This has been an ongoing issue for at least 2 years, but with no adverse effects to the vehicle operation. I will be driving and my ABS warning light and parking brake light will come on simultaneously, and remain on until the vehicle is turned off. When the weather is colder, 35-40F or below, the lights don't come on at all. But when the temperature increases, the lights begin to come on more frequently, sometimes 2 or more times a day depending on how many stops are made.

I have 2 questions. First, how many ABS sensors would be on a 2000 Sonoma SLS with rear wheel drive, disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear? Are they on all 4 wheels, or just the front? Second, if they are on all 4 wheels, would the parking brake indicator light suggest that the brake may be sticking or not releasing properly, and that in turn causes the ABS sensor to detect a difference in the rotation of the 2 rear wheels?
