Hello to everyone,
I have 2003 GMC Savana 2500 2WD 5.3 Vortec with 61,000 miles. Last month my front brakes started to grunt under 5 mph when I trying to stop. It doesn't matter if the pavement is dry or wet the pedal starts to shake(like abs) and the van "slides" forward til it stops. I have no clue what I should do.The ABS light does not go on. I have good brake pads and rotors front and back.
Any suggestions on what I should do.Its driving me nuts.Could the ABS sensor be causing this problem.
Also Can I replace them without going to mechanic because I am really low with $$$ is there any step by step instructions how to do it by myself, any images or prints would be welcome?
Any service manual step by step procedure?
Do I need replace everything with hub or I can try replace just sensors?
Thank you in advance for any kind of help!
