ac clutch

My ac stopped working on my 95 jimmy. The ac pulley is now squeeling all the time and worse when i'm idleing in a drive through or stop light. I noticed there is a bunch of steel shavings on the pulley. My guess is the clutches are sticking or something? Can i replace just the pulley or does it sound like mayby the compressor is gone ?

A/C clutch bearing failed and the clutch it self is not bad also from the bad bearing. You can buy a A/C clutch bearing and clutch kit for your compressor and don't forget to replace the Magnetic Coil that activates the clutch.
