Hi everyone,
The Ac on my 2001 Sierra started blowing the pressure relief valve so I replaced the orifice tube. The compressor was working fine when this happened. After I replaced the orifice tube, cranked the engine, and turned the AC on high in order to recharge it, I noticed the compressor is not cycling on at all. During the repair I touched no wiring or anything else. Simply separated the line and replaced the tube.
Did I miss something during the replacement process or is the problem unrelated and just happened to occur at this time?
Thanks,
Mark
