Has anyone on here use their Acadia to haul a camper? I was just told by my car dealer that the Acadia I own is not designed to haul at all! Even though it comes with the option to install a tow kit, it is not designed to haul anything behind it. I was hoping to be able to haul at least 3000 to 4000 pounds dry. The owners manual suggests that the Acadia can haul just over 5000 pounds. I'm a little disappointed and frustrated at the car dealer suggest that this vehicle is not intended to haul anything besides the payload inside of the vehicle itself. Has anyone had an issue with hauling and at what weight? And if so can you share some details?
