Aftermarket exhaust, 94 SLT Vortec

I've got myself a 1994 SLT with the Vortec engine, I've been thinking about putting a different exhaust in, not only to eliminate the donut leak I have, but to upgrade to a deeper, low tone. One thing I've heard all to often is that highway drone, I know I can learn to tune it out, but I want my truck to have that certain sound. Anyone know of a good aftermarket system, low tone, no drone? Because of my job, I hear a wide selection of tuned and detuned cars, I've heard how easy it is to do a terrible job on the sound. I don't have a cat now, not worried about it, so that can be excluded.

I't all in the muffler.................. Bigger the muffler the quieter the sound..
they make performance exhaust thats quiet till you get in to the throttle.

with no cat then a cherry bomb would be great, i have a 92 gmc jimmy 4.3l with a cat and with a cherry bomb, and it sounded good, nice tone rev up better tone, plus they are like 40 bucks lol
