2015 Denali with factory projector headlights. need aiming, on high beam they are aimed at the top of trees instead of down the road, I need to lower them but have been told they are factory set

do you have a lift or leveling kit on it ,then yes they are high, they are factory set for a stock truck
drivers side should be down and to the right alittle, passenger side down straight ahead
the way I have adjusted then on my vehicles find a dark area on a street , stand in front of one of the lights , look where the other is aimed
do the same for the other before any adjustments
when I say down , not overdone down
then stand a distance in front of the truck as if you are in an on coming car , ask yourself are they right?
maybe put card board in front of one light while adjusting the other it helps you see the change as you adjust
Good Luck

i understand that, I have found the elevation adjustment screws but no luck on finding the windage (left to right) adjustment screws. Thanks

I understand that modifying anything factory set could void some of your warranty? Saw this link abt the standard way to aim headlights, though i'm not sure if it would apply to your brand or model. But i think it would give you an idea what to prepare for when you do it.

A lot of newer vehicles do not have adjustments for left / right. They only have adjustment for up and down. My 2012 Sierra is not adjustable for left right and the 2004 F-150 I had also did not have adjustment for left right. I'm not sure if your truck would have the left / right adjustment, but it is possible that it doesn't.

i was reading the manual of my 2011 sierra
and it explains how to adjust the head lights
my book is page 10-42 look in the index 'headlamps aiming'
