air ride conversion kit or coil spings

I am changing the air ride unit out for coil springs. All the "conversion kits" I have found are pretty high priced. But just the coils themselves seem to be cheap. The kits do not appear to come with anything different except instructions. The kits have isolators but so do some of the coil only products.. Is there anything I am overlooking or should I just buy coils with isolators and skip the " conversion kit"?

Are you replacing the air suspension because there was a problem with the suspension, or just becaue you wanted a change?
