Since the cold weather set in my alternator is reading a little pass the middle on the amp gauge which reads 14 amps. It use to read just under 14 amps . Battery is a year old, alternator i don't know. Even on long trips the gauge is reading 15 amps. 1998 k2500 7.4. Any idea's or maybe a trip to auto zone as i believe they can check both. Thank you
