so everyone i blew at first the tranny but kept driving it with only 1st and 3rd, and then developed a rod knock, it shifted down one day, revved up and blew out 2 pistons, so it was parked. i got a heavy duty rebuilt 4l60e, heavy duty internals, and shift kit, built for towing, and then just yesterday, went to junk yard and found a rebuilt jasper engine with 60k on it since rebuild. Came out of a blazer with a blown rear end and just rotted to hell. now im gunna be swapping out both engine and tranny very soon, and get my beast back on the road, any tips or thircks that anyone knows that can make the process a little easier?
