Hello all, i tried to post a link i used to fix 90% of my rough running 4.3l CPI engine issues, and improved my mileage significantly, but it kept saying invalid thread... anyways when i can i will, new subproject on my baby here, I recently acquired two deep cycle 6 volt rv/marine batteries, they were used in a series on some 12v equipement at work, they still have a good load but we keep our batteries fresh to prevent any downtime, so i want to mount em on each side of the back in baterry boxes hooked up in a series for high load 12v use, i have some radio equipment and other things to run off them, but i would like to have them run off my existing charging system while keeping them isolated from the main electrical, so that anything hooked up to them is ONLY running of them, or the alternator, and not touching the main car batttery, i have looked up some isolators, but its seems a lot of them are designed to only switch to auxiliary when the car is off, and use the main battery while running, any thoughts?
