I was wondering is it was possible to take the differential and put it under the leaf spring for an added lift on a 94 Jimmy. how difficult would it be, how much lift would I get, and I was wondering how much work is it to put in a heater core, cuz mine leaks. Thanks.

By "differential", I assume you mean the rear axle. While what you describe is possible, there are other issues to consider. Like needing a longer brake hose, wiring, shocks, and possibly needing a longer custom driveshaft. There also may be issues with the rear sway bar (my wife has my Jimmy so I can't check to confirm) and other suspension components.

While it may give you about 3-4 inches, it will actually lower the front because of extra weight on the front springs. You need to raise the front, and if you're going to do that, you might as well just get a proper lift kit.

lift kit

The switch would only give you a 3 inch lift quite easy, dont have to do anything else except to put new bolts and nuts, nothing will change in measurements all your going to do is put a little more strain on the ujoints, i suggest throwing some 235/75/r15 tires and rims. it gave me a extra 3 inches of room off the ground and kept the entire thing level doing it. also the heater core is about a 5 hour job easy to do if your patient. I did mine outside in middle or winter and it was pretty easy.
