Ok guys bought a 94 Gmc Sierra Z71 4x4 from a boy. Motor has been rebuilt along with trans front end and rear end. But they have MURDERED the wiring harness. Example when you hit the brakes with the key off they work....but the ac/heater controls light up too but with the key on the brake lights don't work. And today the battery was drained so when I decided to jump start it. It melted all the LED interior lights. So I'm officially done with trying to figure all this out and I'm just going to install a new wiring harness. I found one from painless for $500 but I am curious how hard this will be to install? I've mechaniced on trucks since I was 10 but Ive never installed a complete harness.cthoughts or suggestions?
