Block lift / add a leaf / or suspension lift on '85 GMC Suburban 2wd?

I just bought a great '85 gmc suburban and I want to lift it a little and put some bigger tires. What is the most economical way to go. I see alot of stuff is just for 4wd suburbans. I just want to add about 2" , nothing major. Also with the added 2" what tires will I be able to use, I use 235 75 r15 now.

Please no one word answers, it really takes away from the whole premise of this site.
