Well, it worked for a while and once again I have no heat. The blower does not run but will with direct jumpers to B+. All fuses are fine. This 2000 jimmy has automatic everything (more to repair of course) and instead of a blower motor resistor, uses a blower control module #52474437. I think this is the culprit.
Wondering if anyone else has had problems with this module. It is a sealed unit but was wondering if there was a schematic for it so I can try to figure out if perhaps there is a wire continuity issue.
I was a mechanic way back when things were nuts and bolts but these computer modules are certainly something else. We all read on here on how "I tried this and tried that"....mechanics don't throw parts at the car and hope they fixed it. Especially up here in Canada where this Control Module 52474437 is going to run me over $200. I want to be sure.
Suggestions, support, ideas, schematics, solutions would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
